An emerging practice integrating sexuality,
embodiment, education and therapeutic touch.

Sexological Bodywork supports greater awareness, confidence, self-connection and understanding of your body, sexuality and capacity for pleasure. Sessions bring together conversation, somatic practice, and, where appropriate, therapeutic touch, in a space that is safe, non-judgemental, and guided entirely by your intentions.

Whether you are seeking to deepen your relationship with yourself, navigate challenges, or cultivate greater confidence and authenticity in your body and sexuality, sessions are individually tailored to where you are and what you need.

Together we create the space. You lead the way.

"Curiosity is the only requirement." Shelle Blyth · The Unfurling

Embodied Learning meets you wherever you are.

Body Awareness

Reconnecting with your body's signals, sensations, and intelligence. Learning to listen inward with curiosity rather than judgement.

Sexual Wellbeing

Exploring your relationship with sexuality, desire, and pleasure in a safe, non-judgemental space. Normalising conversations that often go unspoken.

Pleasure Education

Understanding your body's capacity for pleasure, not as performance, but as a natural expression of feeling safe, connected, and alive.

Confidence & Communication

Developing language and confidence around your needs, boundaries, and desires, in intimacy, relationships, and in your relationship with yourself.

Navigating Challenges

Working through shame, disconnection, past experiences, or patterns that have kept you from feeling fully at home in your body.

Self-Connection

Deepening your relationship with yourself, your values, your desires, and the parts of your experience you may not yet have words for.

Each session is shaped by you -
your questions, your intentions, your pace.

The inclusion of touch or bodywork in sessions is always discussed in advance and guided by explicit consent. Sessions may be purely educational and conversational, or may incorporate body-based practice, entirely led by your needs and readiness.

How a session unfolds.

We begin with a genuine conversation about what you are seeking, what is present for you, and what you would like to explore. There is no pressure to have it figured out — curiosity is enough to begin.

Together we identify what you are hoping to understand, experience, or move through. Sessions are guided by your intentions, not a set curriculum. This is collaborative, not prescriptive.

Drawing on Sexological Bodywork, somatic practice, and nervous system-informed education, we explore your questions and intentions through conversation, practice, and, where appropriate and agreed, body-based work.

We close with space to reflect, ask questions, and integrate what has arisen. Many people find that insights from sessions continue to unfold quietly in the days that follow.

You are curious about yourself
and ready to explore.

  • You want to understand your body, your sexuality, or your desires more deeply
  • You are navigating shame, disconnection, or confusion about your sexual self
  • You long for greater confidence and ease in your body and in intimacy
  • You want to develop language around your needs, desires, and boundaries
  • You are healing from past experiences and seeking a somatic, body-centred approach

You do not need any prior knowledge or experience. Curiosity is the only requirement.

Education-led, body-centred, entirely yours.

Frequently asked questions.

What is Sexological Bodywork?

Sexological Bodywork is an educational and somatic modality that integrates conversation, education, and body-based practice to support awareness of sexuality, embodiment, and pleasure. It is not a form of sexual therapy or counselling, and it is not a sexual service. It is an evidence-informed educational practice grounded in somatic awareness, nervous system regulation, and consent.

Does this include touch?

Sessions may include body-based practice where appropriate and agreed in advance. Some sessions are purely conversational and educational. Any touch or somatic work is always discussed beforehand and guided by explicit consent. Nothing is assumed or expected.

Is this the same as sex therapy?

No. Embodied Learning is not sex therapy and does not replace psychological or clinical treatment. It is an educational and somatic approach that supports self-awareness, embodiment, and wellbeing. If you are experiencing significant mental health challenges, Shelle can discuss whether this offering is appropriate alongside other support.

I feel embarrassed about what I want to explore. Is that okay?

Completely. Many people come to these sessions carrying a mix of curiosity and shame, often about things that are entirely normal and human. This space is non-judgemental and held with warmth. You do not need to have it together before you arrive. You only need to be willing to begin.

Can I volunteer for training sessions?

Yes. Shelle is currently completing her Sexological Bodywork training and welcomes expressions of interest from people willing to participate as a body in training sessions. Please get in touch to discuss what this involves.

What is the cancellation policy?

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required for any changes to your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the session, or failure to attend, will incur the full session fee.
